About our Founder:
Prior to launching Sustainable Design Studio in 2010, Christine Medvedev was a leader in the sustainable design practice at the New York office of Gensler, one of the largest architecture firms in the world, teaching internal LEED training classes and achieving certification for several projects as the LEED Project Coordinator. As Project Architect and Project Manager, Christine led large scale commercial projects for national and global clients, including WPP and its subsidiaries, Arup, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Brown Harris Stevens, and a floor-by-floor modernization of the historic Federal Reserve Bank of NY building. In addition to her commercial portfolio, Christine has designed and renovated multiple private homes in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Ohio. Her design-oriented approach, attention to detail, and organization are critical components to make your project successful.
Christine has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California School of Architecture. She is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP+ BD&C) and a member of the International Interior Design Association, the US Green Building Council, and the National Association of Professional Women.
